These literacy boardgames are a really fun way to practise National Curriculum topics with a small group or a pair of children. Easy to play and full of colourful illustrations they brighten up any lesson at school or family game time at home.

Each board is double-sided so provides two games in one! Each game is set at a different level of difficulty so players can progress from one to the other as their skills improve or provides two different elements of a topic.

  • Game 2: Initial letter blends Practise the letter sounds from A to Z and initial blend sounds e.g. 'sh-', 'tr-' using word and picture cues. The first player to go round the board and place all their counters in their coloured section is the winner
